The Volunteer Experience

As a volunteer, you’ll participate in monthly training that ensure you’re well-prepared for any emergency situation. These sessions cover essential firefighting techniques, safety protocols, and the latest advancements in emergency response. Additionally, we hold monthly meetings to keep everyone informed, connected, and engaged with department activities. Routine monthly equipment checks are also a vital part of our operations, ensuring that all tools and apparatus are in optimal condition and ready when needed.

Volunteering with us is not just about responding to fires; it’s about giving back to your community, building strong relationships, and developing valuable skills. Many of our volunteers choose to further their expertise by pursuing national certifications through Firefighter I and II courses, as well as engaging in continuing education opportunities. These credentials not only enhance their firefighting capabilities but also open doors for future career advancement within emergency services.
